Barrie has a lot to offer when it comes to local restaurants, as there is a huge variety of different types of cuisine. From pubs to fine dining and just about everything in between, there is always something for everyone in this growing city. With the colder weather setting in and more time to spend with family and friends, a night out for a great meal is always a good idea. We have come up with a shortlist of tasty specials offered by restaurants around town so you can plan a night out. Take a look!

Mondays can be tough, after a relaxing weekend then back to the reality of work, going out for dinner seems like a great idea. Big Bone Barbecue is a great option and they have a delicious special for the dreary Mondays, you can get two orders of wings, 2 racks of ribs, and french fries for just $25. This is definitely a meal to easily split between you and your partner or you and a friend. Great value and great taste are guaranteed here at this local restaurant.
Tuesdays are a great night to visit the Bull and Barrel at Cedar Point for two pints of Coors Light and two hamburgers for just $24. This traditional pub offers a cozy and friendly environment and pub favorites, great for friends and family.
Wednesdays are a must at Milestones, with their awesome special of two can dine for $50. This gives you the option of an appetizer to share, an entree, and a shareable dessert. The great thing about this special is that there are a ton of options to choose from and you don't feel limited in choices. Another great deal for Wednesdays is at Moxies Bar and Grill with their half-price bottles of wine. This is a great special for a night out with a date or close friend.
Thursdays boast a great special at Hooligans in Barrie with their steak special with all the fixings for just $20. Fridays enjoy a two-for-one fish and chip special at a local favorite, The British Arms downtown Barrie. Claimed as Barrie’s best fish and chips this is a great deal and the British Arms often has live music which is a nice touch to a night on the town. If you're not into fish and chips, just down the street at McReilly’s Pub you can get a prime rib burger and fries for just $8.
Saturday why not try one of the newer restaurants in Barrie? If you're looking for a quick meal on the go try Burger’s Priest or Fat Bastard Burrito, both are definitely tasty! If you're looking for something a little different why not try Pho Bistro, a truly authentic Vietnamese experience. Ragazzi is a great choice if you're looking for Italian dishes such as pasta or chicken parmesan. Sundays seem to welcome the Canadian drink, caesars. The Bull and Barrel have caesar Sundays, where caesars all day are just $5. Cozy up by the fireplace and sip on your caesars with friends, and you can also enjoy a hearty Sunday dinner of roast beef stuffed Yorkshire pudding.
